Position Overview
What drives you within your practice? Virginia Therapeutic Network is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in delivering therapeutic consultation services. At Virginia Therapeutic Network, we look at fostering passionate clinicians who make a meaningful impact. We build support times consisting of SLPs, OTs, PTs, Rec Therapist and BCBA’s to assist our clients in living meaningful, purpose driven and value based lives. What You’ll Do

• Partner with individuals, families, and caregivers to identify strengths, challenges, and meaningful goals.

• Observe daily routines and environments to assess needs and opportunities for improved participation and independence.

• Develop clear, practical consultation plans that include recommendations for environmental modifications, adaptive equipment, and activity adaptations.

• Provide training and hands-on coaching to caregivers and staff to implement recommended strategies.

• Demonstrate therapeutic techniques and assistive devices to promote skill development and engagement.

• Collaborate closely with other professionals to ensure strategies are consistent across all settings.

• Document assessments, recommendations, and progress in a clear and timely manner.

• Participate in service planning meetings to ensure alignment with client goals and needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Active Virginia OT license in good standing.

• Strong skills in assessment, planning, and adaptive strategies.

• Experience training and supporting caregivers or interdisciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.

• Commitment to a collaborative, team based and person-centered approach.

Preferred

• Experience providing therapeutic consultation, community-based services, or home-based programs.

• Knowledge of assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.

• Familiarity with person-centered planning and strength-based approaches.

• Comfort with telehealth when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized support plans.

• Provide hands-on training and coaching to families, caregivers, and support staff.

• Design and monitor behavior support plans that emphasize skill-building, independence, and quality of life

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and medical providers.

• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.

• Maintain clear, timely, and professional documentation in compliance with company standards.

• Fosters strong community relations with persons and supporting teams
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

• Eligible to provide Therapeutic Consultation under Virginia’s waiver programs.

• Experience in behavior support planning, functional assessment, and caregiver training.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.

• Collect and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust supports as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Active Virginia SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred).

• Eligible to provide Therapeutic Consultation under Virginia’s waiver programs.

• Experience in functional communication training, AAC, and caregiver coaching.

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.

Virginia Therapeutic Network is seeking an experienced and compassionate Lead Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in providing therapeutic consultation services. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality clinical support to individuals and families while also mentoring and guiding other social workers, ensuring the highest standards of care across our programs. What You’ll Do

• Provide therapeutic consultation to individuals, families, and caregivers to identify strengths, challenges, and goals.

• Conduct assessments and observations to inform individualized support plans.

• Develop and oversee consultation plans focused on behavioral, social-emotional, and environmental supports.

• Provide training, coaching, and crisis support to families, caregivers, and staff.

• Mentor and supervise other social workers, offering guidance, feedback, and professional development.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, person-centered approaches.

• Document assessments, recommendations, and progress in a clear and timely manner.

• Participate in or lead service planning meetings to align supports with client goals.

• Partner with leadership to improve program quality, consistency, and innovation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current LCSW license in Virginia, in good standing.

• Proven experience in clinical assessment, intervention, and consultation.

• Leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to a collaborative, strength-based, person-centered model of care.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with therapeutic consultation, community-based services, or home-based programs.

• Experience with ID/DD so other cognitive disabilities 

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices applicable to the population 

• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration in behavioral health or educational settings.
