The SIS Assessment and Tier Levels
IT'S MORE THAN A NUMBER
The Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) is a standardized assessment tool used to determine the level of support required for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The assessment evaluates needs across areas like medical, behavioral, and community support to assign each client a Tier, with Tier 4 indicating the most intensive needs. Tier levels guide the allocation of resources and support intensity to ensure appropriate services and safeguards.

Support for Clinicians Working with High-Risk Individuals
The Internal Review Board provides clinicians with guidance, oversight, and strategies for risk management when serving high-risk clients. This includes support in care planning, regulatory compliance, and ethical practice, ensuring that interventions maximize both safety and therapeutic effectiveness. Regular feedback, case reviews, and professional development opportunities are provided to uphold high standards of care and reduce clinician burden.
